 Please NOTE: 2017 registrations will be capped at 50 vehicles.

  1. To aid in ordering of event shirts and meals, registrations after July 1, 2017 will be charged a $75 late registration fee. Please take note and plan to register early if attending the event.
  2. To reduce event overhead costs, DTC will only be renting a portion of Wild Bills Campground for the 2017 BHCC. ALL types of camping sites (Full hookup sites, electric/water sites, electric only sites & tent sites) are still available. There is a reduction in the number of full hookup sites available and if you wish to utilize a site with those accommodations please make sure and call Wild Bills Campground (605-578-2800) to put you name on a site.

Cabins are available to rent from Wild Bills Campground. For cabin reservations visit Reservations are not needed for individuals camping at Wild Bills Campground. DTC reserves a large portion of the campground for the BHCC.

2017 Event Registration

(Includes 3 days of trail rides, dash plaque, Event t-shirt & Raffle Ticket)

Registration before July 1, 2017 – $150.00
Registration after July 1, 2017 – $225.00

Camping Fee — $40.00 (Includes 4 nights of camping with excellent facilities)
Additional Passengers/campers — $40.00 (includes 4 nights of camping and Event Dinner)

Cancellations prior to July 1 will be refunded after the Classic minus a $20 administration fee. Cancellations after July 1 are non-refundable. Registration transfers will be accepted.

  1. No alcohol permitted on the trail; no firearms permitted in camp or on the trail.

  2. The trail leader is responsible for the conduct of the trail ride and his/her decisions are final. Trail leaders can disqualify any vehicle due to lack of ability to complete the trail. If you leave a trail ride before the conclusion, you must contact the trail leader before leaving. CB radio is used by trail leaders to facilitate the trail ride. Foul language is not permitted.

  3. Vehicle technical inspections will be conducted for required safety and trail equipment. Drive responsibly to protect the environment and only where motorized vehicles are permitted. All participants must abide by U.S. Forest Service/Badlands National Park rules and regulations. Do not take items from historic sites; leave history for all to enjoy.

  4. Make sure you always maintain visual contact with the vehicles around you on trail rides. Stop and wait for the vehicle behind you if you lose sight.

  5. All vehicles must be street legal, licensed, four wheel drives. Have your own liability insurance. The BHCC is not responsible for accidents, damage, or injury to persons or vehicles. All drivers must be legally licensed and are responsible for the occupants of that vehicle. No motorcycles, three wheelers, ATVs, etc., will be allowed at any time.

  6. Each vehicle must have a fire extinguisher, first aid kit and comply with TLCA safety requirements. A CB, tools, hi-lift jack, winch and spare parts are recommended.

5:00 – 7:00 pm Check-in/technical inspection
7:30 pm Classic Welcome and Driver’s Briefing

Thursday July 20th

7:00 – 8:00 am Late check-in and technical inspection
8:00 – 9:00 am Trail rides depart – Day 1

Friday July 21st

 8:00 – 9:00 am Trail rides depart – Day 2

Saturday, July 22nd

 8:00 – 9:00 am Trail rides depart – Day 3
 6:30 pm Event dinner and raffle

Sunday, July 23rd

Pack up, head home, and plan for next year’s Classic
